BIOGRAPHY 

R. Paul Randall, Jr.

Paul Randall practices in the areas of real property and business transactions, real estate finance, closings and title insurance, business entity formation, foreclosures and collections and wills and probate. Paul has extensive experience in commercial and residential real property transactions and represents buyers, sellers, borrowers and lenders.

Paul’s experience also includes all aspects of title insurance. He is a title insurance agent for Chicago Title Insurance Company, Fidelity National Title Insurance Company, First American Title Insurance Company and Old Republic Title Insurance Company. He has represented insureds on behalf title insurers and has been called on as an expert witness in litigation involving title insurance claims and real estate closings.

Paul began his legal practice in his hometown of Woodville, Mississippi with Wilkerson & Crawford, LLP where he was an associate in a general legal practice focusing on real property and related areas of practice. Prior to returning to private practice, Paul served as Associate State Counsel with First American Title Insurance Company in Jackson, Mississippi. At First American, Paul’s primary responsibilities included title insurance underwriting and managing claims.

Paul has been a frequent presenter on the subject of real estate transactions and title insurance and is a member of the Mississippi Bar, where he recently served as a Bar Commissioner and has chaired the Real Property Section, the Committee on Professional Responsibility and the Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee. Paul also serves the Bar from time to time on task forces and other committees. He is a member of the Capital Area Bar Association, the Madison County Bar Association and the Tri-County Real Estate Lawyer’s Association.

Paul is licensed to practice in every Mississippi Court, the U.S. Supreme Court, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and Federal District Courts in Mississippi.

EDUCATION

Paul majored in Accounting and earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Mississippi College in 1997 and a Juris Doctor from The University of Mississippi School of Law in 2000.

ON A PERSONAL NOTE

Paul is an active member of Pear Orchard Presbyterian Church in Ridgeland. Paul lives in Madison with his four children.
